Undercard WordPress Author Cards

Four designed author cards you place anywhere, with guest authors, co-authors and credit roles. Pro publishes that same author record as structured data — the full expertise list, and the education no card renders.

The four Undercard card families side by side: Meridian, Cobalt, Aurora and NFC Profile.

Cards you place, not a box that appends

Every Undercard card is a block. Put one in a template part, in a Query Loop, on an about page, or halfway down a post — and each one resolves its own subject, so a loop of ten posts renders ten different authors from one block. Four designs, up to five layouts, every variation, and light, dark and system schemes where the design allows one. None of it is behind the paywall.

Credit anyone, with or without an account

Add a guest author who has never had a login and they get a real profile URL of their own. Add as many co-authors as a post earned, in the order you choose. Label each one — Author, Co-author, Editor, Reviewer, Fact checker — and once a post credits more than one person, the byline prints each role beside that person's card. All of it in the free plugin.

See exactly what a machine would read

Undercard shows you, on the profile screen, the Person node your site would publish — job title, employer, education, expertise, the lot. The free plugin shows it and publishes nothing. Pro publishes it: a connected graph where the article points at the person by @id, every byline in order, every role mapped. With Yoast or Rank Math installed it enriches the node they already publish instead of adding a second one; with no SEO plugin at all it publishes the graph itself.
One author record

The card your readers see and the data a machine reads are two views of the same author, built from one object. Change a job title once and both follow. They cannot disagree, because there is nothing for them to disagree about.

Works with your SEO plugin — or without one

Undercard Pro detects Yoast and Rank Math and enriches the node they already publish, at their own @id. Turn them off and it publishes the graph itself. Turn them on later and it steps back.

Made for the Block Editor

Full-site editing, template parts and Query Loops, with no shortcode and nothing hooked into your content filter. Where you put the block is where the card appears.
